At the event “Philosophy and the Indispensability of Society” held at TESAK in Kadıköy on 9 April, Arzu Temelli and Nedim Yıldız discussed Nietzsche’s understanding of history and society. While Arzu Temelli focused on how Nietzsche shapes the interaction between the individual and society from a historical perspective, Nedim Yıldız approached society as an indispensable element, sharing a perspective similar to that of Hobbes. The event examined the structural problems of modern societies and the limits of individual freedom in the light of historical perspectives.
